Alex is an illustrator and concept artist with several years of experience in diverse creative roles within the videogame industry. As an illustrator his work has been utilised by publishers including Cosmos Magazine, Pearson Education Canada, and the Discovery Channel.

Educated at the University of Melbourne, Australia, Alex graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts. Studies in various visual media, including painting, 3D visualisation and animation, offered a broad creative skills base from which to operate.

This education, coupled with a strong interest in biology, zoology and real-world technology, has fostered an artistic style able to accurately illustrate biological life, and to generate plausible fictional creatures to explore life's possibilities on other worlds.

Alex is available for freelance and contract work, with special skills in science fiction art, creature design, and biological illustration.
